Yesterday I was able to get all the packages shipped out. Most of you should be getting them delivered by the end of this week or early next week. International backers should get them within 14 days or so.
I'm glad this project is done. The shipping was a disaster (which I'll be posting about on my YouTube channel later). I greatly miscalculated the shipping costs. Just to give an example, if you bought a $5 sketch pad... it cost me over $8 to ship it to you. Either postal costs went up or I did a miscalculation.
A lot of Kickstarter project creators would've buried their head in the sand and you would never hear from them again if a disaster like that happened to them. I debated refunding everyone but I already paid to have the product produced... so I used it as a learning experience and filmed a YouTube video about the mishap.
I'll be posting that video and many more in the coming weeks to my YouTube channel. Please go check it out and subscribe. The channel will focus on the growth of my business, the Barclay Mountain Co. It will document the successes and failures of starting a business. Much of what we do is history based, so a lot of the videos will be travel videos to historic places and museums. Other videos will focus on the steps of creating a business such as developing product, creating a Kickstarter project, opening a subscription box service, marketing, etc., etc.

Packaging to start this weekend

All the sketchbooks and pads are ready to pack. I’m just waiting on boxes and bubble wrap. I should be able to get everything packaged this weekend and shipped out early next week.
Small delays but shipping by the end of August

I wasn't happy with the first batch of sketch pads that we got, so we decided to go with a different printer. Because of this delay we're running a few weeks behind schedule. Unfortunately with this new printer, the sketch pads will be a few pages shorter. The pad will contain 50 pages.
I'll be making the PDF files availbe for your own printing within the next few weeks also. I'll make them available within a shared drive and then provide everyone a link to that shared drive.
